Sharon Ford Jenkins passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 68 years old. A celebration of life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Sharon was predeceased by her daughter, Monica Renea Jenkins; her parents, Robert Bruce Ford, Sr. and Billy Jean Lumpkin Ford; and her best friend, Diane Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Caleb Penton and his wife, Taylor Raiford Penton; granddaughter, Whitney Penton; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Bruce “Bob” Ford II; nephew, Robert Bruce “Rob” Ford III; cousin, Rebecca “Becky” Hover; caring friend, Melanie Dukote; numerous other loved ones and friends.

Sharon was born in Picayune, Mississippi on November 27, 1951. She graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in the year 1969, where she was a proud member of the majorette team. She went on to earn her cosmetology license and built a well-established clientele as a beautician in Picayune. She had the privilege of teaching cosmetology classes, performing postmortem cosmetology and briefly owned her own salon. She retired after a rewarding career of over 40 years.

Sharon was a devout Christian, who enjoyed shopping, coloring, and spending time with her family and her chihuahua, Bailey.
