Minor flooding predicted

No storm damage was reported to the Emergency Operations Center in Pearl River County as part of Tropical Storm Cristobal’s arrival to the Gulf Coast Saturday and Sunday, said Emergency Management Director Danny Manley.
Catastrophic flooding was predicted in the city of Picayune, but has been revised to minor flooding late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, said Manley.
The West Hobolochitto is predicted to crest at 17.5 feet at 1 a.m., revised down from a previously forecasted crest of 23.5 feet. The East Hobolochitto is predicted to crest at 16.5 feet at 1 a.m., revised down from a previous prediction of 20.5 feet.
