Picayune police make five drug arrests in ongoing operation

The Picayune Police Department made five arrests in relation to the alleged sale of drugs as part of operation “Fresh Start” on Friday morning, and are still looking for two more people.
Detectives worked with the DEA.
Alan Jones, 36, of 1223 Kingsway Dr., Apt. 17, Picayune, was arrested for three counts of sale of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set for $135,000.
Andre Thomas, 55, of 182 Elbert Mitchell Rd., Picayune, was arrested for sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond is for $45,000.
James Irwin, 44, of 166 Jordan McQueen Rd., Picayune, was arrested for two counts of sale of a controlled substance, for a total bond of $90,000.
Alexandra Batiste, 24, of 2706 Rodgers St., Picayune, was arrested for three counts of sale of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. Her bond is set at $135,000.
George Austin Jones, 34, of 3361 Jackson Landing Rd., Picayune, was arrested for sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, for a total bond of $45,000. Jones is incarcerated at the Pearl River County jail. The Picayune Police Department has placed a hold on him.
Jeremy McCastile, 32, of 1110 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Picayune, and Crystal Slaydon, 35, of 6 Easy Street, Picayune, are being sought for sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance warrants.
