A Celebration of Life for Jo Corley Woods, age  82, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, will be held Friday, January 17, 2020, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service, and Dr. Raymon Leake will present the eulogy.

A native of Jackson, MS, she was Owner of Jo’s Hallmark (25 years) and City Stationary. Jo was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. She was a loyal supporter of Mississippi State University. Along with Glade, she was dedicated to The Partners in Leadership for Pearl River County. Other points of service include, Picayune Junior Auxiliary (President), and Civic Women’s Club (President), along with multiple support roles for First Baptist Church of Picayune. Some of  her favorite joys were decorating for Christmas and celebrating with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas Edward Corley and Maggie Lee Harrell Corley; and her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Earl Glade Woods.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Earl “Woody” Glade Woods, Jr. and wife Lee, Scott Woods and wife Charli, and Lee Anne Futrell and husband, David; her grandchildren Ethan Woods, Corley Woods, Whitney Woods, Reagan Woods, and Matthew Futrell; her sisters, Nan Brantley and Myra Raddin; and several nieces and nephews.
