Visitation for Clyde Hickman Ratliff, age 86, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019, will be held Monday, December 9, 2019, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Funeral Services will follow, Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Jarod Saucedo will officiate the service.

A native of Kentucky, he served in the US Army, and was a retired Supervisor at Rocketdyne and a member of First United Methodist Church of Picayune. Clyde was a past member of the Civitan Organization in Picayune. He was a little league baseball coach and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events over the years. His favorite pastimes after retirement were going to breakfast with his friends and family, playing cards, and going on family vacations. Clyde was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur William Ratliff and Winnfred Gamlin Ratliff; his wife of 42 years, Evadine “Dee” Ratliff; and his 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jeffrey (Jaime) Ratliff, Jackie (Scott) Bartlett, and Anthony (Nancy) Myers; his 6 grandchildren, Baylee Ratliff, Haleigh Ratliff, Jessica Bartlett, Jena Bartlett, Corey Myers, and Kelly Myers; his friend and companion, Carolyn Ratcliff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
