Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at 4 pm in Weems Chapel United Methodist Church for Mr. Clemon Fowler, age 71, of Carriere, MS, who died Sept. 26, 2019 in New Orleans, LA. 

The Elder Joe Walton will officiate at the service.  Burial will be in Carriere, MS, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home. Fowler was a native of Paulding, MS. 

Survivors include stepdaughter Anitra Whitehead of Slidell, LA.; 1 stepson, Corey Whitehead and 1 stepgrandson, Kenston Smith both of Slidell, LA; 1 special niece, Janice Fowler of Jackson, MS; 2 sisters, Mamie Fowler of Poplarville, MS and Mildred Hare of Picayune, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Fowler; parents, Russell and Emily Fowler; 1 sister, Louise Smith; 4 brothers, Rev. William Fowler, George Fowler, John William Fowler, Sr., Jesse Fowler; and a special niece Rose R. Rayford. 

Visitation will be Oct. 4, 2019 from 3 pm until 4 pm in Weems Chapel  United Methodist Church under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
