Funeral Services for Donald  Ray Stockstill, age 76, of Henleyfield Community, MS, who passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019, will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Josh Braddy will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Local Business Owner and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He loved to listen to music, fish, and be with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald Ray was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur “Shorty” E. Stockstill and Illa Ray Bond Stockstill.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Marie Lee Stockstill; his sons, Jeffery (Lisa K) Stockstill, and Byron D. (Samantha) Stockstill; 5 grandchildren, Justin (Felicia) Stockstill, Logan (Kaleigh) Stockstill, Adam Stockstill, Caitlin Stockstill, and Lexi Stockstill; 4 great grandchildren, Kayla Mitchell, Justin “Little Man” Stockstill, Tyler Stockstill, and Whitleigh Stockstill; his brothers, Arthur Lee (Sylvia) Stockstill, James “P.A.” (Linda L.) Stockstill, and Earl Glen (Linda) Stockstill; his sister, Brenda Gail (Waymon) Singletary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank EJGH and affiliated physicians, Encompass Home Health, Encompass Hospice, and also Peyton Lee for their loving care of Donald Ray.
