Narcotics investigators went to the home, located at 440 Sam Smith Rd., Poplarville, on July 31, to serve that warrant. When they arrived, a search of the location determined several plants believed to be marijuana were growing on the property. Inside the home, the investigators found an amount of a dried leafy substance suspected to be marijuana, digital scales, plastic bags, paraphernalia and firearms, Allison sad.

During the search, Hodge was not at home, but he was located later that same day and arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm, Allison said.
