The Pearl River County Board of Realtors is raising funds for the Pearl River County SPCA by raffling a pair of tickets to the Nov. 24 New Orleans Saints game against the Carolina Panthers on the terrace level.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and will be drawn on Sept. 20 at the Board’s general membership meeting, said Board President Stephanie Russo.
Donations to the PRC SPCA go directly to the care of the animals, said Maria Diamond, PRC SPCA public relations director.
“We’re on a very tight budget and every penny we get really helps,” said Diamond.
The Board of Realtors raises funds for charities at least twice a year, Russo said. Working with charities makes all of the real estate agents aware of the community needs.
The Board’s social task force chose the PRC SPCA, because one of the task force members is heavily involved in the SPCA and knew the shelter needed funds, Russo said.
Tickets can be purchased at the animal shelter at 1700 Palestine Road or at the PRC Board of Realtors office at 104 Kirkwood St., Suite B.
