Pearl River Central gets district win against West Harrison

Carriere— The Pearl River Central Blue Devils pulled through last Friday night by securing their second district win of the season against the West Harrison Hurricanes 40-19.
PRC now has a record of 3-5 and a district record of 2-2.
The Blue Devils were able to establish a dominant running attack early in the game.
PRC scored on their first three possessions of the game with two touchdowns from Kobe Whitehead and a score from Ryan Spradley
West Harrison would only match the Blue Devils with one touchdown in the first quarter and PRC would head into the half with a 20-7 lead.
The Blue Devils would pick up where they left off in the first half going up 27-7 after a Kobe Whitehead’s third touchdown of the game on a run of 3 yards.
PRC would score again in the third quarter on Ryan Spradley’s second touchdown of the night after a run of 3 yards.
The Blue Devils would add on to their lead with a touchdown from Eli Lavigne.
West Harrison would score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to make the score 40-19.
The Blue Devils will play at Gautier next week.
