Services for Myra Faye Hughes Kirkland, 64, of Carriere, Mississippi, and former resident of Centreville, Mississippi, who passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville, Mississippi with Bro. Bradley Geno officiating.

Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Centreville, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Newman Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of Service.

Mrs. Kirkland was born November 12, 1953 in Centreville, Mississippi the daughter of the late Roy R. “Bull” Hughes and Dorothy Felder Hughes of Liberty, Mississippi. She was a clerk at Highland Community Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Richard Hughes and Gerald Hughes.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Kirkland of Carriere; her mother, Dorothy Felder Hughes of Liberty, Mississippi; two sons, Christopher Kirkland and Timothy Kirkland of Carriere; and two bothers, Michael Hughes and Donald Hughes of Liberty, Mississippi.
