JoAnn Merwin Flous

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, the Lord called up to heaven Mrs. JoAnn Merwin Flous to join him in everlasting peace.

A Memorial Mass for JoAnn Merwin Flous, age 73, of Picayune, MS was held Friday, June 22, 2018  at 11:00 am in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

There was a private family graveside service in New Palestine Cemetery following the church service.

A native of  St. Bernard Parish, LA, and resident of Picayune, MS, she was a Homemaker, a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and a member of the Ladie’s Auxillary 6872.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Joseph Merwin and Louise Deogracias Merwin; her husband, Lester “Bud” David Flous; and her brothers, Donald R. Cazaubon, Sr., Arthur P. Cazaubon, Jr., Edwin C. Merwin, Harry J. Merwin, Donald C. Merwin,, and Allen P. Merwin.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Leslie Ann (Rodney) Bourgeois and Tammy Marie (Louis) Laneri; 6 grandchildren, Cory M. Flous, Ashley L. (Caleb) Dorrity, Blane D. Laneri, Blake D. Laneri, and Trea M. Laneri, and Lane M. Warino; 2 great grandchildren, Layla L. Solar and Caleb M. Solar, Jr.; her sister, Judy M. (Larry) Fireck; remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, and deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
