Turnage listed her cause of death as being due to blunt force trauma during the collision.

The collision involved a 2007 Toyota RAV4 and a 2015 Nissan Altima, previous coverage states.

Couch was driving the Altima, Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Joe Quave said. The RAV4 was driven by 19-year-old Sarah Hicks and occupied by a juvenile passenger. Hicks and the juvenile are currently receiving treatment for their injuries at Forrest General Hospital, Quave said.

Blood was obtained from both drivers and tested as part of the ongoing investigation to determine a cause of the collision, Quave said.
