Lemuel Powell Pearson, age 74, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Picayune Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeremy Williams officiating.

Mr. Pearson was a Veteran of the Army National Guard, a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a former draftsman ship checker with CDI Marine-Ingalls Shipyard, and a member of Carriere First Baptist.

He is survived by his son, Richard Sheridan of Petal; daughter, Tammy Lynn Carr of Picayune; sisters Jeffery Ann Pearson of Picayune, and Linda Sue Martin of Carriere; and five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel A. Pearson and Annabelle Powell Pearson; wife Sheila Fay Pearson; and daughter Laura Ann Pearson.
