James Leonard Noel

Graveside Funeral Services for James Leonard Noel, Sr. age 91, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, were held Friday, February 2, 2018, at 2:00 pm at New Palestine Cemetery  .

Burial was in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

 A native of Texas County, Missouri, he was a retired Business Owner of Central Heating and Air, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Picayune. James was a Master Mason at Level Woods Lodge #626, Jackson, Mississippi. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly loved and missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James David Noel and Martha Ann Hartley Noel; his wife of over 51 years, Izetta Katherine McCarty Noel; his great grandson, Kenneth Hunter Smith; his sisters, Ruby Graven and Amy Henry; and his brothers, Ray Noel, Kenneth Noel, and Thomas Noel.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Carolyn Sue Penton; his sons, James Leonard Noel, Jr. and Mark Andrew Noel and wife Tracy; his seven grandchildren; his seven  great grandchildren; and his one great great granddaughter.
