Mary Joyce Alleman Morlas entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of Noel (Buck) Morlas, Sr. for 60 years. Loving mother of Cathy Fallon (Glen), Noel Morlas, Jr. (Antonette), Perry Morlas (Kera Charpentier), and Wendy Trocquet (Stephen).

Proud grandmother of eight: Dylan Morlas, Jennie Trocquet Hermann (David), Louis Trocquet, Abby Morlas (Ian Ockman Sr.), Matthew Trocquet, Connor Fallon, Bertrand Morlas, and Anna Trocquet. Great-grandmother of three: Ian and Arlan Ockman and Jason Hermann.

Daughter of the late Augustin and Victoria Sanchez Alleman. She is preceded in death by her siblings Oneal Alleman, Mae Alleman, Cecile Traigle, Emelda Boudreaux, Norris Alleman, and Jessie Alleman. She was born in White Castle, LA, raised her family in Marrero, LA, and retired to Picayune, MS.

She retired as a paraprofessional in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was nurturing and loving to all. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Metairie Cemetery at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans 70124. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
