Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Chief Investigator Marc Ogden said officers became aware of the incident while following up on an investigation regarding recent auto burglaries in the area. While inspecting the suspicious vehicle, officers discovered a man, later identified as 26-year-old Zachary Kellar of 140 Hickory Lane, to allegedly be engaged in a sexual act with a canine, Ogden said.

Kellar was arrested and incarcerated at the Pearl River County jail on one count of unnatural intercourse, Ogden said. A bond of $10,000 was set for Kellar and at press time he is still incarcerated at the Pearl River County jail, Ogden said.
