Kristen Shaw, 32, of Poplarville, Mississippi, died December 24, 2017 in Memorial Hospital, Gulfport.

Ms. Shaw was born July 19, 1985 in Gulfport, Mississippi and was a lifelong resident of the Barth Community. She was a member of Community Baptist Church – Barth. She was a 2003 graduate of Poplarville High School. She was pursuing a degree in Nursing at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, putting her studies on hold to be a Mother. She was an employee of Pearl River Drug in Poplarville prior to her cancer diagnosis.

Kristen is survived by her parents, Steve and Mary Nell Hariel Shaw; her brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Amber Shaw; her three precious children and their father, Brookelyn, Brayson, and Brycen Garrett, Patrick Garrett; nephew and nieces, Logan, Avery, and Addy Shaw; and her grandmother, Marie Hariel.

Services will be at Community Baptist Church, 32 Community Church Road, Poplarville, Mississippi, 39470 on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday at the church.
