Friends of the Margaret Reed Crosby Memorial Library are putting together a Christmas program set for Dec. 17  from 2-4 p.m.

The program features a sing-along by member Kourtney Scheel Stover, who will entice audiences to sing along to Christmas songs.

The event is open to the public and include a Christmas cookie and goodie contest.

Participants in the cookie decorating competition are expected to bring one plate of decorated cookies. The Christmas goodie contest requires participants to bring home baked cookies for tasting.

Members from the audience will judge the contests based on the look and taste of each submission. Winners from each category will then be chosen.

Kathleen Holland said the program will provide an opportunity for community members to gather at the library in fun and fellowship.  Refreshments will be served.
