Funeral Services for Willard Jefferson Hedgepeth, age 84, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, November 17, 2017, will be held Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00 am at Faith Chapel Church of God, 61 Pullens Road, Carriere, Mississippi 39426.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, and also visitation November 20, 2017, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Faith Chapel Church of God.

Burial will be in George Ford Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro Warren Hedgepeth will officiate the service.

A native of Monticello, Mississippi, he was a retired Data Processing Specialist at Stennis Space Center. Willard was a retired Music Director at various Pearl River County Churches. He spent many years traveling with his family, singing Southern Gospel Music. Willard was a faithful member of Faith Chapel Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Alford Hedgepeth and Eula Lee May; his sisters, Jessie Faye McCarty and Christine Polk; and his brothers, Colon Hedgepeth and Lamar Hedgepeth.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Annie Merle Pearson Hedgepeth; his children, Pam (Steve) Sable, Kevin (Christy) Hedgepeth, and Kimberly (Shannon) Johnson; 10 grandchildren, Sheena (Brandon) Strong, Scott (Katie) Johnson, Sarah (Nathan) Lee, Keagan (Justin) Lowe, Drew (Kristina) Hedgepeth, Dalton Hedgepeth, Devin Hedgepeth, Katie Anne Hedgepeth, Tyler Johnson, and Anna Grace Sable; 9 great grandchildren, Parker, Preslyn, and Dayten Johnson, Emme and Hayes Strong, Tucker and Cooper Lowe, Anderson Lee, and Emma Leigh Hedgepeth; his brother, Warren Arthur (Debbie) Hedgepeth; his sister, Edna Jean (Neville) Barrett; and his sister in law, Cloyce Neely.
