Sherry Joyce Boyle, age 68, of Picayune passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Frierson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Joyce was a housewife, devoted mom, grandmother and friend. Her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She lived in Picayune for the past 35 years coming from Decatur, Texas. She enjoyed watching Hallmark, Lifetime movies and playing Wahoo.

She is survived by one son, Christopher Frierson of Picayune; two daughters, Carrye Smith of Picayune, Jamey Wright and husband Derek of Picayune; two step-daughters, Gigi Smith and Jamie McGuire; one sister, Linda Laird of Decatur, Texas, nine grandchildren, Steven McGuire, Lacey (Timmy) Stewart, Clint Frierson, Lt. John-Wesley Smith, MaShae Smith, Skyler Smith, Landon Smith, Hayden Wright, and Avery Wright and two great-grandchildren, Gracie & Owen Stewart.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roy Wesley Elliott and Beatrice Pitts Elliott; her husband, James L. Boyle; one grandson, Michael and one son-in-law Jeffrey Smith.
