Brenda Gail Dixon, 68, of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 9:40 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Newelton, Louisiana. Brenda was a Customer Service Representative for Wal-Mart and also a Revlon Sales Representative. She was a Duchess of Paducah and a Kentucky Colonel. Brenda enjoyed fishing and will be remembered for her sense of humor, always having a joke to share and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her friend, Peggy Bridges of Brookport, IL; her brother, Daniel Herrington of Picayune, Mississippi; and her father and step mother, Hillary Dixon and Virginia Dixon of Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Hazeline Wachtor Herrington and Levon Herrington.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at McDonald Funeral Home, 401 West Canal Street, Picayune, Mississippi. Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017, at 2:30 p.m., in New Palestine Cemetery, 2336 Palestine Road, Picayune, Mississippi 39466.
