Magician and illusionist Mike Super will make an appearance at Pearl River Community College on Oct. 24.

Super won the NBC show, Phenomenon in 2007 and was a finalist in the television show America’s Got Talent in 2014.

“This will be Super’s first appearance in the state of Mississippi,” Director of Bands Dr. Kyle Hill said. “Super is on a tour right now and we were able to get him to come to our campus before heading out to Orlando.”

Since his victory on Phenomenon, Super has toured many countries throughout the world and also made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Super has also earned awards such as Best Male Performer and Best Novelty Live Performer.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. at the Ethel Holden Brownstone Center for Arts on the Poplarville campus.

“The chatter of Super’s show is picking up throughout campus and social media, so I’m excited to see the turnout that we will receive,” Hill said. “This is a family-oriented show, so everyone is invited to come out.”
