According to an announcement by the Nicholson Water Association, water services within its coverage area will be interrupted on Tuesday, Sept. 19, starting at 8 a.m.
The announcement states that the reason for the service interruption is due to a necessary repair.
The expected outage area will include homes along Jackson Landing Road from the Penton well service south to the railroad crossing at Cliff Mitchell Road and J.J. Holcomb Road. Homes along Donald Penton Road, Blue Bird Lane, and at Allison RV Park are also expected to experience an outage of service.
Once water services are restored in the affected areas, residents are urged to boil water for at least one minute prior to consumption.
