Funeral Services for Shirley Ann Ozier Cook, age 81, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Lisa Pridmore will officiate the service.
A native of New Orleans, she was a partner for Curtis Cook Enterprises, Inc. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was known to many as a classy, loving woman, with a sincere smile, and a big heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Ozier and Ola Hembree Ozier; and her sister, Betty Jean Ozier Stewart.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 62 years, Paul “P.C.” Curtis Cook; her daughter, Anne (Miller) Crawford; her sons, Paul Curtis (Lisa) Cook, Jr. and Jay (Cyndi) Cook; 7 grandchildren, Lauren (Joshua) Welch, Paul Curtis Cook, III, Joshua Caleb Cook, Jimmy (Kyla) Jacobs, Sarah (Joe) Jacobs Cowart, Brett (Katy) Milner, and Cordale Helton: 9 great grandchildren; and her brothers, Bill (Suzanne) Boone and Kenneth (Jenta) Boone.
The family would like to thank Shirley’s caregivers, Truly, Tiffany, Sara, Kayla, Mandy, and our beloved, Lisa.
