Funeral Services for Gracie S. Pearson, age 86, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. Buddy Sheriff will officiate the service.

A native of Carriere, she was a Homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church. Gracie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. Jones, Sr. and Grace Johnson Jones; her husband, Boyce Pearson; her brothers and sisters, Corbett Jones, Cordell Kehner, Caroll Jones, Elsie McKean, Margaret Carver, Herbert Jones, and J.D. Jones, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gregory (Mary) Pearson, Patty (John) Banko, and Darrel Pearson; 9 grandchildren, Ryan Pearson, Brittany (Matthew) Sims, Jenna (Dylan) Brown, John (Brooke) Banko, Joshua Pearson, Katie Pearson, Laken (Stephen) Fargo, Jessica Pearson, and Chad Leblanc; 9 great grandchildren; and her brother, Patrick (Barbara) Jones.
