Funeral Services for Evan D. “Lou” Landrum, Sr., age 91, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Dan Young will officiate the service, assisted by Dr. Keith Warden.

A native of Salem Community, he was a Business Owner for Landrum Discount Furniture and a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Lou was also honored as the head usher. He was a board member at First National Bank of Picayune for over 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lular “L.Q.” Landrum and Agnes Warden Landrum; his wife of 70 years, Mary K.  Landrum; his son, Evan D. Landrum, Jr.; 2 brothers,Gary Landrum and James E. “Mutt” Landrum; and 5 sisters, Easter, Lois, Dixie, Ossie Mae and Vesta.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeffrey L. (Connie) Landrum and  Hal C. Landrum; his daughter in law, Barbara Landrum; his grandson, Kellis (Whitney) Landrum; his step grandson, Billy Abasolo-Landrum; 3 granddaughters, Traci (Brad) McKenzie, Mary Ann (David) Brannan, and Brooke (Marcus) Goforth; 10 great grandchildren, Alec, Luke, Emmy, Abbi, Drew, Lainy, Matti, Lily Kate, Evie, and Robin; and his brother, Kellis (Bobbie) Landrum.
