In loving memory of Darryl and Beverly Warren

Darryl and his loving bride, Beverly, married on October 4, 1956.  High school sweethearts, they had a long beautiful life together on this earth and now celebrate their love in heaven.
Darryl Lynn Warren, 77, born to Charles and Mary (Root) Warren on November 6, 1938, passed away at Slidell Memorial Hospital on June 12, 2016. Born in Middlebury, Pennsylvania. Predeceased by his sister, Donna (Warren) Nielsen.  Survived by a brother, Donald (Shirley)Warren; and sister, Diane Warren. A patriot through and through, he had a long career in the military and earned both the Korean and Vietnam Service Medal, as well as, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and a Bronze Star Medal.  Upon retirement, he moved to Poplarville, Mississippi and spent the last 21 years of his life tending to his garden and caring for his beloved pets.
Beverly Shirley (Mattison) Warren, 78, born to Gernard and Mildred (Glaze) Mattison on July 13, 1938, passed away at Passages Hopice in New Orleans, La. on February 27, 2017.  Born in Blossburg, Pennsylvania.  Survived by three siblings, Bill Mattison, Norma (Sonny) Walker, Gernard Mattison Jr. She traveled the world with her husband and raised 4 children. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and joined her husband in his retirement. The last 21 years were spent with her husband in Poplarville, Mississippi enjoying their grandchildren, gardens, cats and dog “She”.
Both Darryl and Beverly Warren were preceded in death by their parents; and their grandson, Sean Frichter.  They are survived by four children, Theresa (Carl) Frichter of Poplarville, Miss.; Brenda (Tony) Miklos of Virginia Beach, Va.; Dale (Geana) Warren of Plant City, Fla.; and Beth (Richard) Juge of New Orleans, La.; eight grandchildren, Heather (AL) Huber and Susan (Andrew) Williams; Brandi Miklos and Brandon Miklos, Charles, Maxwell and Isabelle Juge; and eight great- grandchildren.
The family hosted a small private service in New Orleans and both will be buried in a family plot in Pennsylvania.
