Funeral Services for Nelda Jean Ladner McLemore, 85, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12:00 noon at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Poplarville City Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.
A native of Poplarville, Miss., she was a factory worker and a member of First Baptist Church of Nicholson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McLemore; parents, Robert “Bob” Franklin Ladner and Bertha Mae Rester Ladner; son, Robert Michael Sones; grandson, Christopher Michael Fleming; brothers, Robert “Buck” Derwood Ladner and Robert Walker Ladner; sister, Beatrice Jacqueline Ladner Morin.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia Schouest and husband Chris, Jonathan Craig Sones, Janice K. Pulis and husband James; grandchildren, Jamie Michelle Romano and husband Steve, Lindsey Ann Fleming, Ian Michael Sones, Evan Ryan Sones, Emi Angelica Sones; great-grandchildren, Dorian, Luke, Peyton, Rylee, Jake, and Liam; brothers, Nimocks Ladner, Donald Aaron Ladner and wife Leavon, and Gary Cooper; sisters, Shirley Mae Ladner Lenoir and Dorothy Ann Ladner Pearson Daigle; daughter-in-law, Theresa G. Sones; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
