Graveside funeral services for Hester Rose Bilbo Bounds, age 93, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Gipson Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Cedric Lumpkin will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, Miss., she was a Homemaker and a member of Benville Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 49 wonderful years, Monroe J. “Bill” Bounds; parents, Artis James Bilbo and Lillie Jane Lee Bilbo; brother, Jesse Thomas Bilbo; sisters, Cora Louise Bilbo Mitchell, Flora Annie Bilbo Mitchell, Easter Lou Bilbo Lee, Annie Ruth Bilbo Necaise, and Julia Faye Bilbo Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, James H. “Jimmy” Bounds and wife Gala, Judy Ruth Reinholtz and husband Melvin, Jerry E. Bounds, and Johnnie Bounds; grandchildren, Anthony Wayne “Tony” Bounds, Steven Ray Bounds, Brian Lee Reinholtz and Gwen, Jon Brent Reinholtz, and Brian Tanner Necaise; great grandchildren, Elijah Sawyer Bounds, Kaine Owen Bounds, Adriana Lee Reinholtz, and Shelby Lenae Reinholtz; sister, Irene Izetta Bilbo Mitchell and husband Onra; brother-in-law, J. L. Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
