The Lady Tide lost to South Jones in the first round of the state tournament Monday night after nearly completing a 17-point comeback in the fourth quarter. Alanna Smith led Picayune in scoring with 22 points, including 14 in the final six minutes of the game. Teammate Camille Culpepper finished with 14 rebounds, seven points, two steals and a block.
