Katie enjoyed her job as a legal secretary, serving the public as a notary, and serving as member and secretary of the Amite Rotary Club.  She loved spending time with her husband, she was proud of her girls, her mom and sister were her best friends, and her grandbabies were her pride and joy.  Katie was the rock and backbone of her family whom she constantly reminded that God will always provide.  Our grieving hearts are comforted by the fact that she regularly claimed “It is well with my soul.” Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. at Mckneely Funeral Home in Amite, La. on January 28th followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
