Funeral service will be held December 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Chapel Baptist Church for Mrs. Eula Anderson, age 84, of Picayune, Miss., who died Dec. 3, 2016 in New Orleans, La. Rev. Tommie Hart will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Parker Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

She was a cook for the Baptist Seminary in New Orleans, a member of Parker Chapel Baptist Church, Mother of the Church, member of the church choir, served on the Usher Board, member of Springhill Association.

Preceded by husbands, Johnny Burnette and James Anderson; and parents Hillard Pearson and Flora Wilson Pearson-Parker; 3 children, Robert Burnette, Tamara Burnette, Johnnie Burnette Jr.; 2 grandsons, Johnny Berry and Kenneth Burnette.

Survivors include 5 daughters, Mae Frances Berry, Loretta Stubbs, Dorothy Hathrone, Flora Burnette, all of Picayune, Miss., Lessie Mae Washington of Portland, Ore.; 1 son, Chester Eugene Burnette, of Portland Ore.; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be December 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Chapel Baptist Church under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
