Cheryl ‘Dawn’ Geisinger

Funeral services for Cheryl ‘Dawn’ Geisinger, age 58, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Friday, December 9, 2016, will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father Joseph Trinh will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, Miss., she was a social worker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Dawn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved the feel of the sand between her toes. Dawn enjoyed going to the beach with her family. Her grandsons were the love of her life. Though her passing has left a void, her family knows she’s gone ahead to await them at the pearly gates.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson Bell Williams and Mary Joyce Perkins Williams.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 41 wonderful years, Jack M. Geisinger; daughter, Jacey Geisinger Butler and husband Damon; grandsons, Jack Cole Butler and Jake Finn Butler; sisters, Deborah Sue W. Stennett and husband Barry, Elizabeth Ann W. Andrews, and Carolyn June Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, loved ones, and friends.
