Pearl River Central Water Association has issued a boil water notice for residents living along Highway 11 between White Chapel Road and George Ford Road and the surrounding areas who were without water or had low water pressure on Dec. 12, 2016. The issue is due to a broken water main.
Residents are urged to boil their water for at least a minute before consumption.
Water samples will be taken for two days and as soon as favorable results are back a boil water notice will be lifted.
