Willie Fred Robinson, 67, of Carriere, Miss., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home in Carriere, Miss, with family by his side.
He was born on September 19, 1949, to the late Alonzo Robinson and Carrie Dees Robinson. Fred as a young child joined New Hebron Baptist Church in the Carriere community where he grew and became a young man. Fred attended George Washington Carver High School Class of 1968. He married Ms. Deborah Thompson, of Picayune, Miss., on March 7, 1967.
Fred relocated to Kansas City, Mo., in 1967.  In 1968, he received numerous Certifications in Welding, from the Vocational Technical School of Kansas City. He worked as a welder for Kenworth Motors Truck Company, in Kansas City. After retiring from Kenworth, he returned to his hometown of Carriere. He attended Pearl River Community College, and received a Certificate in Commercial Truck Driving.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Alonzo Robinson Sr., his Mother, Sister Carrie Dees Robinson, brothers, Deacon Ted Lewis Robinson, Alonzo Lee Robinson, Bernard Robinson, Tommy Robinson (died as an infant) and Ethel Marie Robinson (died as an infant).
He leaves to cherish his memories his four children whom he loved dearly in his on special way, Derrick Jones, (Hattiesburg Miss.), Denita Robinson (Kansas City, Mo.), Angela Robinson (Raytown, Mo.) and Andre Robinson (North Kansas City, Mo.); 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters, Carrie Marie Spencer, Easter Milton, Alice (John) Guillory, Ethel (Janie) (Richard) Kemp, Melinda (Stan) Norwood all of Carriere Miss.
Visitation will be at the East Jerusalem Baptist Church 1124 E Jerusalem Ave; Picayune, Miss. 39466 Rev. Brain K. Dees Pastor from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Kenneth Martin Thomas Jr. will be officiating assisted by family honorary clergy Pastor’s Rev. Donald Parker Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Brian Keith Dees, East Jerusalem Baptist Church, Rev. Teno Stubbs and Rev. Frank Thompson Jr. The family wish to thank the New Hebron Baptist Church and Carriere Community, East Jerusalem Baptist Church, all of Pearl River County and St. Tammy Parish for your prayers and support.
Interment will be in the New Hebron Church Cemetery, Carriere, Miss.
