Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a call about a residential burglary in Picayune Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of River Road after a neighbor reported seeing two men enter a vacant house, Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said.
Upon arrival, deputies noticed a large hole in the rear wall of the home where the suspects appeared to have entered, Tucker said.
Deputies found the suspects still on scene, later identified as Bruce Bunales, 31, of 107 Camellia Drive, Poplarville, and Vince Hasterock, 26 of 162 Gardenia St., Picayune, Tucker said.
Deputies arrested the suspects for commercial burglary.
They are being held at the Pearl River County jail awaiting an appearance before a judge.
The only item taken during the incident appeared to be a glass ashtray, Tucker said.
