Memorial Services for Lucia M. Terry, age 82, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Monday, November 14, 2016, will be held Friday, November 18, 2016, at 10:00 am at New Bethel Full
Gospel Community Church, with fellowship following the service at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. David L. Terry D.D. will officiate the service, assisted by Bro. Rodney Burns.
Born in Virginia, she was a retired self employed Accountant and a member of First Southern Gospel Cowboy Church, formerly a
longtime member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.. Lucia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, patriarch, and role model, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of the Picayune Lion’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. John Earl Metzler, Sr.and Lucia Elizabeth Wheeler Metzler; her son, Michael William Terry; and her brother, John Earl Metzler, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, John David (Sharon) Terry, 5 grandchildren, Melissa (Alonzo) Neff, Timothy Hayes, Patrista (Glen) Simmons, Corina (Joseph) Bond, and Johnathan (Valari) Terry, Sr.; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
