Funeral Services for Charles L. “Bogie” Stockstill, age 74, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016, will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, Miss., he was a retired Picayune Police Officer, Pearl River County Chief Deputy, and District 4 Constable. Bogie was a member of New Palestine Baptist Church .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolphus Ulman Stockstill and Audrey Lloyd Stockstill; his brothers, William E. “Billy” Stockstill and A.U. Stockstill; and his sisters, Minnie Blackmon, Liza Penton, Nita Penton, and Carolyn Stockstill.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Mark (Tania) Stockstill, Donna (Scott) Lee, Deanna (Bruce) Wagner, and Bridget (Hayward “Fonzie”) Fleming; 15 grandchildren, Jeremy Lee, Josh Lee, Jeffrey Stockstill, Mark “Alex” Stockstill, Brandon Stockstill, Ethan Stockstill, Blake Fleming, Justin Wagner, Stephen Wagner, Alyssa Padgett, Candace Rogers, Beth Turpen, Torie Stockstill, Ashley Smith, and Jennifer Wagner; and 17 great grandchildren.
