Walter Tillison, Sr., long time resident of Picayune, died September 8, 2016, he was 89 years old. Mr. Tillison was born on February 6, 1927 in Grenada, MS
to the late Albert and Alma (Collins) Tillison. Mr.  Tillison was a retired heavy equipment operator and thoroughly enjoyed his many years of working in the construction industry.    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son,  Walter Tillison, Jr; two sisters Jessie Mae Jackson and  Alma  May Hayes and two brothers,  Albert Tillison, Jr. and Frank  Tillison.
Survivors include three daughters: Thelma Mask, Jeanett Tillison (both of Los Angeles, CA), and Sharon  R.  Coleman (Atlanta, GA);  two sons: Charles Tillison and Darnell Tillison ( both of Los  Angeles, CA) and one step-son,   John Williams ( of Pasadena, CA); two sisters, Louvenia Bridges and Rosie Meeks, both of Grenada, MS  and;  one brother, Robert Tillison of Grenada, MS; and  several  grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of  relatives and friends.
A private burial service will take place in Grenada, MS.   The family is grateful for your condolences.
