Private graveside funeral services for Lucius Breeland, 85, of Bogalusa, LA, who passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, will be held Monday, September 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Henleyfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Burial will be in Henleyfield Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Wayne Wilson will officiate the service.
A native of Robert, LA, he was an entrepreneur and US Army veteran. He was a loving husband and father who dedicated his life to hard work. He always put his family first and enjoyed fast cars, a healthy political discord, and a good life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Vertrees Breeland; parents, Lydia and Frank Breeland; daughter, Anna Carol Breeland; son, Mark Denny Breeland; brothers, Hollis Breeland, Walter Breeland, Jr. and Jessie Collin Breeland; sisters, Dollive Breeland Pilaud, Modise Breeland Geklinsky and Lorena Breeland Pilaud.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Stephen Lee Breeland and wife Jessica, Adam Paul Breeland, and Lucias Breeland II; grandchildren, Noah Alexander Breeland, AnnaLee Michele Breeland, Kayleigh Ann Spiers, Karlee Aaliyah Breeland, Stephen Collin Breeland, Melissa Nicole Yider, Johnny Lee Miles and David Scott Miles.
