Mildred Jane Holmes was called to rest on August 7, 2016.
Her home going services will be held on Saturday, August 13,
2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Greater Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
She was one of eight children born to the late Earl and Laura Brown Jones.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Welton Holmes and they had nine children and eleven grandchildren.
She served as a nurse’s assistance and unit secretary for many years at Crosby Memorial Hospital.  She was a devoted Christian and always kept a beautiful smile on her face.  She will be truly missed.
The family would like to invite all friends, family and co workers to attend her visitation and service.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
