Bro. Jewel Lee Prince, age 79, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Friday, August 5, 2016.
Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Lee’s Chapel #1 on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. James Reeves, Bro. Scott Downes, and Bro. Wesley Downes
officiating. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel #1 Cemetery.
Bro. Prince was the pastor of Wolf Creek Baptist Church for 30 years, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a bricklayer, and a Mason.
He is survived by two sons, Timothy Prince and his wife Donna, Allen Prince and his wife Suzanne; two daughters, Aleshia Reeves and her husband James, and Sandy Spiers; loving friend and companion Sue Necaise; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson L. Prince and Mable Prince; one son, Kimothy Prince; three brothers, Sam Prince, Billy Prince, and Frank Prince; one sister, Mary Catherin Smith.
