Howard Ray Varnado, 77, of Pearl River, LA died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his residence.
Graveside funeral service was held August 23, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Head Cemetery, Poplarville, MS.
Mr. Varnado was born August 5, 1939 in Poplarville to Elijah Varnado and Wilma Saucier Varnado.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked with the railroad in New Orleans before his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Soloman E. Varnado, Herman W. Varnado, and Huey P. Varnado.
Family members include one brother, Harlon H. Varnado and one sister, Reba V. Lee; eighteen nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
