Sybil Jean Megehee Pigott, age 83, passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Megehee and Annie Gillentine Megehee; her husband of 54 years, Daris Pigott; her sisters, Luemayon Hobgood, Naomi Sherrer, and Joan Stewart; and her granddaughter, Nancy Hollingsworth.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Richard) Hollingsworth of Lyman, Kathy (Lee) Rogers of Saucier, and Elizabeth Frankum (Jeff) of Monroe, GA; siblings, David Megehee (Marsha), and Juanita Wise (David); six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 261 Liberty Road, Picayune, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior in the church. Burial will follow at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
