Man arrested for unrelated charges in two counties

Duanne Ladner, 48, wanted by both Hancock County and Pearl River County Sheriff’s Departments for unrelated charges, was arrested June 17 in Hancock County.

A man wanted in Pearl River County for stealing vending machines has been arrested in Hancock County on an unrelated charge.

Duanne Ladner, 48, of 6019 Caesar Necaise Road was arrested by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department on July 17 for aggravated domestic violence charges.

According to Hancock County Sheriff’s Department records, the incident in Hancock County occurred on July 11.

Ladner is also on hold for the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department for a warrant issued for two counts of grand larceny in June.

According to previous coverage, investigators connected Ladner to the theft of two vending machines, with a value of more than $4,000, between June 15 and 20.

Previous coverage states Ladner was caught on surveillance footage stealing the machines, one from the Anchor Lake boat launch and another from a Dollar General.

Ladner is set to appear in court in Hancock County on August 9 to face the aggravated domestic violence charge, according to Hancock County records.
