Frank F. Mumphrey, Jr., 81, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 in Picayune, MS.

He was born in New Orleans, LA on October 11, 1934. Beloved husband of Gail Arcement. Loving father of Frank Mumphrey (LaNelle), Jan Mumphrey, Dede Buffone, C.J. Arcement (Crissy), and the late Alan Mumphrey and Lori M. Graff. Son of the late Frank and Ruth Gowland Mumphrey. Brother of Duane Falgout. Grandfather of Dana, Chelsea, Nicole, Eddie, Joshua, Julie, Angel, Rachel, Amy, Alan, Jr., Sammy, Matthew, Conner, Kelsea, and the late Matthew Buffone. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A native of Chalmette, LA, a former resident of Bay St. Louis, MS since 1978 and a resident of Picayune, MS since Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Mumphrey was a retired elevator mechanic and a member of the IUEC Local 16.   

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA 70043 on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
