Funeral services for Bettye Sue Stewart, 93, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Bookkeeper for Crosby Forest Products, a member of the Red Hats Society, and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clyde Stewart; parents, Daries F. Mitchell and Mildred Williams Mitchell; brother, Daries F. Mitchell Jr.; sister, Ann  Colburn.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kennett Frank Stewart and wife Frances; grandchildren, Erica Jaimes and husband Mark, Jared Stewart and wife Ingrid, Derek Stewart; great grandchildren, Brenden, Jorden, and Carrington Jaimes, and Adriano Stewart; sister, Margarett Williams, brother in law, Leonard Colburn.
