Hancock County resident steals vending machines

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of Duane Ladner, 48, of 6019 Caesar Necaise Road in Hancock County.
Between June 15 and 20, Ladner allegedly stole two Coke vending machines in Pearl River County with a total value of $4000, said Chief Investigator Marc Ogden.
Ladner was caught on surveillance footage stealing two Coke vending machines.
The first machine was stolen from the Anchor Lake boat launch. Investigators later received a tip of his identity and linked him to a second stolen machine from a Dollar General at West Union Road and Ceasar Road, said Ogden.
The surveillance photos show Ladner backing up a flat bed trailer attached to his truck up to the machine, and then pushing the machine onto his trailer, said Ogden.
Upon arrest, Ladner will be charged with two counts of grand larceny.
Ladner is also wanted by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department for an aggravated domestic violence charge, said Ogden.
He has a history of misdemeanor offenses in both Mississippi and Louisiana, said Ogden.
Ladner’s whereabouts are currently unknown. According to Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office, Ladner is driving a brown or silver regular cab 2005 Chevrolet full size truck.
