Ralph “Peto” Perez entered eternal life at the age of 79, on Monday, May 16, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Barbara Acosta Perez of 57 years. Loving father of Ralph Irvin Perez, Sheila Perez Pilet (Jeff) and Mark Victor Perez (Kim). Grandfather of Alayna Pilet Phillips (Jeff), Jeffrey Pilet, Jr. (Tara), Justin Pilet and Samantha, Brandon, and Steven Perez. Loving brother of Bessie Gray (Paul), Margie Montelongo (Richard) and the late August Victor Perez, (Irene), Tessie Ticker (William), Leland Perez (Carol), Ronald Arthur Perez (Lorraine), also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born on November 10, 1936 to loving parents, the late Victor Perez, and Marie Polkey Perez. He was a retired New Orleans longshoreman and fisherman. He cherished time spent with his family and friends. He loved watching the New Orleans Saints and tennis.
